Lynn Stefano is the director of the Family Literacy Project, an NGO promoting reading, writing and providing access to books in remote villages around the Drakensberg. Lynn has a Masters in Agriculture (Food Security) and PG Dip in Rural Resource Management an has been working in rural areas since 1997. Lynn has been married to Tino (who is chief subeditor at The Mercury) for 33 years, and they have a 23 year old son studying at UCT.
