I have been a Home Executive for the best part of my life thus giving us the privilege of a very close family.
I enjoy all the “home” things like sewing, knitting, cross stitch – and most importantly, if I must say so myself, give of myself willingly to many people and causes. I enjoy Women’s Institute and am qualified Judge. We both enjoy participating in the life of the Methodist Church.
Sport
Keen on Hockey, Golf and now love bowls.
Service Clubs
I have always been a very committed supporter being both a Table Leg and later a Rotary Ann. I have willingly helped with any project that the club was involved in over a period of 52 years. I was recognised by the club with the award of a Paul Harris Fellowship for my dedicated support.
We both enjoy travelling, locally as well as abroad, having being privileged to visit many places and to have met so many people, especially through Rotary.
So, now in our “twilight years” we have again been allowed to welcome a new group of friends into our lives.
Should you ever have the good fortune to pass through Newcastle please come and visit us!
We have an interesting “Front Door” – it is never closed to our friends!
